"The Daley Show" 12.10.10

As in Richard M., not Stewart, Jon. This exhibition, a coproduction with Johalla Projects at Chicago Urban Art Society, fills some 3,800 square feet of gallery space with portraits and other works dedicated to the outgoing mayor by more than 20 local artists. The man himself has been invited, and while there’s no word yet on whether he’ll attend, we always say the more, the mayorier. Bonus: The opening is sponsored by Old Style, which equals free beer.

I recently put together this record cover for "Sundowner, we chase waves" A solo project by Chris McCaughan, the guitarist/vocalist from "The Lawrence Arms" This is the out come of this collaboration... (The tiger and the solo flower were used in CD booklet.)

Revolution Tattoo & Gallery, "Heavy Metal Harvest" 10.23.10

On Saturday, I took part in a group show with about 30 other artists at Revolution Tattoo and Gallery. For their "Heavy Metal Harvest" show, including black tee shirt trade, baked goods, and free Three Floyds Beer. This is the piece that I contributed to the show, "love shack baby" of which I sold to Kumas Corner.

Uprise Skate Shop. Installation. October 2010

I recently went to the Scrap Metal Yard and took some references for this project/installation at 'Uprise' for the month of October.

This year I had the opportunity to create and hang work for a local spot here in Humboldt Park.... this would be the result of that. Three of the four large wood cut outs have sold and hung in various homes around Chicago.
